Cancellation Policy

This is a gentle exercise class but Yoga Maya cannot be held responsible for any injuries suffered during or following the class. When practising yoga, never rush or force anything; listen to your body and only work within your own limits. If you or your baby feel stressed or unhappy at any point, take a break and rejoin the practice only when you both feel comfortable. Please avoid attending class if you or your baby are unwell, or within 24 hours of your baby's immunisations. (Your baby is still welcome to attend the class if they are within this period, but they may be out of sorts / have sore legs so please go gently (massage is not recommended during this period). Yoga Maya provides a safe environment for you and your child, but parents / carers are responsible for their child’s behaviour and welfare during the class. Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility, and all adults should be alert to any issues around the safety or welfare of a child, in the class environment or elsewhere. Please contact the teacher confidentially if you have any concerns at all. Tea & coffee and biscuits are sometimes offered at the end of the class. Please make the teacher aware of any allergies if relevant. Any hot drinks are served in lidded cups to minimise the risk of spills; however, please be very careful with babies in the room, as Yoga Maya cannot be held responsible for any scalds or accidents with drinks. Your teacher has an up-to-date DBS clearance, safeguarding policy, basic first aid training and full yoga teacher’s liability insurance. Please get in touch if you require any further details. In the event you cannot attend a pre-booked class, every effort will be made to transfer your booking to an alternative date if one is available, otherwise a credit towards a future class will be given. Refunds will only be made if an alternative date can't be found and the client is unable to use a class credit for a future date. A minimum of 24 hours' notice is required for refunds / transfers / class credits (any later than this will be at the class leader's discretion). Occasionally Yoga Maya may take photos of class participants for social media or marketing purposes. If so, you will be notified by email in advance as well as verbally at the start of the class, and given the option to opt out. Your privacy and personal information are important to us. Any personal information that we collect from you will be dealt with in line with our Privacy Policy.
